FC journey diary 031 - Pre departure log - Core Regions 3307

:||: LOGBOOK MODE INITIATED. RECORD STARTS HERE :||:You may wonder why the diary sequential number starts from 031. It is because the former diary 001 through 030 was written with restricted access - squadron only. This one resumes writing the diary, this time in public, because the forthcoming expedition is going to be a public one.
After returning from the 4 months duration expedition to the Outer Arm in October 3306 this one went back to work to earn credits here and there in the Bubble as a freelancer. Did bulk goods and passenger transportations. Collected bounty money by hunting wanted rogues or gangs in asteroid belts. Mining. Completed a handful of assassinations. Whatnot. Finally this one pulled out his Federal Corvette out of hibernation then hopped around in the Bubble to call on the engineers, to give the vette appropriate enhancement and augmentation. The reinforced Corvette IRONBLOOD started helping this one a lot, especially transporting major quantity of building materials in the community goals offered by well-knowns factions. Different from his other transportation ships, Corvette is good as she is capable of fighting back against the pirates when interdicted. Fighting back real hard.
This one caught up with the Bubble situation soon after the return, through the information on the media, or chit-chats at the bars of stations here and there. Seems like war is coming closer, definitely. As this one is an independent freelancer of an independent squadron it is all right for him so long as he can earn good credits no matter which is going to win or beaten - Federation or Empire. This has always been his attitude toward things.
New year 3307 has come. This one got a little bored of passenger transport so switched the missions back to bulk goods transport and immersed himself in the work for a while. And quite recently, he got to learn a plan of commander Junagu, the captain of the fleet carrier he was aboard during the Outer Arm expedition. His plan is of a new expedition, this time not to the Outer Arm but to the Galactic Core region and he was widely trying to recruit crew not only from the squadron but also from everyone, across the Galaxy.
Commander Rob, one of the Outer Arm expedition crew raised his hands first. This one decided to join in as well and this time more commanders are likely to be participating in. Just like the last time, a lot of cargos full of drinks, fruits and vegetables were expected to be onboard to keep satisfying bellies of crew during the journey. Browsing the cargo description this one also found a good number of uncommon or rare alcohol's names which made him almost jump for joy. Weekend off days are gonna be fun with them.
Personal To-Do list
- Consider ships to bring onboard. Candidate: DBX, Python, Viper Mk III and Sidewinder
- Consider optional internal parts to bring onboard.
- Restock each ship's cockpit storage with snacks and food cartridges.
- Mine 200-400MT Tritium for commander U's fleet carrier for storage of ships not to be onboard the expedition carrier.
