:||: LOGBOOK MODE INITIATED. RECORD STARTS HERE :||:DSSA Nereus' Deep crew on deck
Spent much, much longer time onboard Nereus' Deep than originally expected.
Took days to fully recover from the burn this one got by the on-foot survey attempt in a Blooe Eork system at inappropriate surface temperature. As recorded on the last log, most of the burns were cured by Advanced Medicines stocked in the ship (also available on the DSSA carrier) but the left thigh pain lingered for a long time. Which made this one choose to stay on the carrier until he could feel comfortable.
After days of recuperation this one finally bid farewell to DSSA Nereus' Deep crew to set out for the next leg. Some of those crew were the ones having enough patience to listen to this stranger's complaints on the thigh pain for a long time on the main deck and there might be a chance to see them again somewhere in the galaxy as both exchanged contact info with each other.
The distance to the next waypoint (#12) was roughly 6,100 Ly reacheable with 61 jumps including supercharge jumps. On the galaxy map the ship was gradually getting close to the tip of Perseus Arm but the density of stars did not start getting sparse yet - it was all right to let the ship route-plot on an automatic mode. This one continued FSD jumps over and over again focusing on reaching #12 but did take a several quick side trips when Water World was found by Discovery Scanner - to do further DSS scan up-close. Just a couple of WWs found during this leg.
System | Planet | Type |
---|---|---|
TRAILAU WO-Z D13-34 | A6, A8 | Water World |
SYROIFUE LG-Y D29 | 7 | Water World |
In the waypoint #12 Syroifue system there was another fleet carrier anchoring, in addition to DSSA carrier which was Letzter Unterschlupf (V8F-65B) owned by a miner association. Having passed by the miners' carrier this one found the destination having her location inside A1 planet ring.
DSSA Ariel Explorer, a Fortune-Class carrier

System: SYROIFUE IG-Y E3
Planet: A1
Place: DSSA Ariel Explorer (V8M-NKQ)
-------------------------------------------------
The entry to Ariel Explorer main deck was restricted and only a number of essential services and commodity market were offering their hands onboard. As usual this one headed to the office of UC/Universal Cartographics to sell the star data.
Xochitl Lamb, Office Manager of Universal Cartographics
Xochitl Lamb UC office manager confirmed the data and this one earned a little less than 8 million credits. The commodity market dealt with Tritium only so there were no means to restock foods, beverages and meds. There were still plenty of foods and beverages but med stock was getting lower than expected thanks to the burn issue. Which was a small concern.
The distance to #13 was shorter than that between #11 and #12 - 5,500 Ly and less 80 jumps were the calculated number to achieve the target. This one did not have a plan to stay on DSSA Ariel Explorer for an extremely long time as he wanted to proceed his solo expedition plan further. Fortunately the thigh pain was almost fully cooled down.
At the same time he was considering to tweak his expedition route plan; at first after reaching the pointy end of Perseus Arm he was thinking of tracking route back to the Bubble. However this started feeling a little bit boring. Instead he was thinking of heading to the Galactic Centre then taking a Sagittarius A* - Bubble carrier ride.
His concern about this revised back-to-Bubble plan was if the density of the Orion Spur Shallows would be dense enough to let him reach Centaurus Reach from Perseus Arm tip. If that were successful then things should be all right as the Dryman Ridge would help him to get over the gap to Circinus Transit.
He needed further survey and consideration to carry out the revised plan.
CMDR Godthab out.
