This one had been fortunate to experience no major ship troubles since he departed DSSA Ariel Explorer heading toward the next waypoint, DSSA Gam Nine also anchoring in Lyra's Song region. He went with the flow, occasionally dropping in on random planets or satellites on the way to take good rest or just to relax and ease the last thigh pain vaguely lingering. The pain was almost healed for now.
Upon arriving onboard DSSA Gam Nine this one went on to do the routine works to do upon reaching a new waypoint: sell scan data to Universal Cartographics, deposit the ship for minor repairing, check carrier shops to restock foods and meds.
He noticed the carrier corridor was much more filled with crew than any other DSSA carriers he had anchored on during this solo expedition. He walked along the corridor further and heard more and more voices of loose talks. And yes - he eventually entered the carrier bar - for the first time in a long, long while.
CMDR Godthab at the carrier bar counterPenny, the bar tender quickly noticed the guy gazing intently at the whiskey bottles on the shelf and took order from him. This one put the whiskey down his throat and took a deep, deep breath.
He has been living for this moment, seriously - he thought. He did have stocks of some alcohols on his ship, but to drink alone in the narrow cockpit and to drink at the bar counter surrounded by lots of boozers are completely different.
