As a matter of fact, it took much longer time for CMDR Godthab than he expected till he finally made up his mind to bid farewell to the crew of DSSA Cheetah Labs. Weeks, no, months.
The distance between the DSSA carrier and the Galaxy's most easterly was no more than 5,300 Ly, which was not extremely long-haul for a commander hopping around outside the Bubble. The challenging thing was once again, just like the case of the Arm's End run, the distance between each star system on the way to the goal.
His calculation let him know that by using maximum number of FSD injections he only needed less than 50 jumps to get to the destination. That sounded easy and fast, but instead he chose to jump as easterly as possible without the injection doping. This meant that he had to make more than 80 jumps which he did not care. Having confirmed that he could reach BYIAE AICK ON-B D13-0 with normal jumps, he finally said goodbye to DSSA Cheetah Labs to jump back in the black.
From BYIAE AICK to THAINUA, the sector right next to OOD FLEAU sector where held the destination, did require the traveler to do a Neutron supercharge jump; after that he managed to continue some more normal jumps. In the last few steps, though, he needed to spend FSD injections - a couple of Premium, some Standard and Basic also. As he always preferred to put maximum number of materials in stock he thought he would go on to the materials collection when returning back to the Bubble or system dense regions.
The sparseness of star systems in OOD FLEAU made him remember HIPAU AEC sector of Xibalba region. In front of the cockpit you see no stars but only darkness, jet-black enough to swallow your mind in it. Better you bring some measures with you to confront, just as CMDR Godthab did, chewing his favorite synthetic beef jerky listening to jazz music all along the run.

Lindigoticum SilicateIn Tenebrae toward the most easterly he had been fortunate to came across several notable stellar phenomena in a couple of systems. The most frequent encounters he experienced were with the Ice Crystals; he had this impression that these biological entities with pointy ends might have a preference to inhabit deep space near the outer rim of the Galaxy. In addition to those galactic sea roe look-alike he also confirmed silicates in several colors; and rhizome pods as well.
NUELOU MN-R B380-0 B | L (Brown Dwarf) StarAnother find on the leg was a Brown Dwarf Star having lots of notable prominences on its surface. He thought he had to recheck the past run database what the usual L-type Brown Dwarf looked like, but those prominence points were shining in a bright white color which he could not recall.
Magellan's Pub, a Drake-Class carrierQuite surprisingly, two fleet carriers - non-DSSA ones - were waiting for his arrival in the destination system OOD FLEAU ZJ-I D9-0, also known as "Magellan's Star." One was a Nautilus-Class Starshipservice.com II (H9K-GTZ) anchoring far from the system star having a crowded pub onboard, and the other one was a Drake-Class Magellan's Pub (QFF-2TM) anchoring near the system star, without pub spaces in operation contrary to its luring carrier name. It was all right though, as CMDR Godthab had satisfied his thirst at the pub on Starshipservice.com II. All the FSS scan data and Codex data collected on the leg safely transferred to the UC and redemption offices so that he could got reward he deserved.

It felt so far away from home. He needed to consider the route plan to head to Centaurus Reach from this edge of the Galaxy, to head further to Circinus Transit probably through the Dryman Ridge. He would need back again to BYIAE AICK sector if there was no convenient shortest route to allow him to go west of OOD FLEAU. Should be possible. Let's see.
