CMDR Godthab's Diamondback Explorer taking a rest on a satellite surfaceJuly 3309 is already here. Almost more than half a year has passed since CMDR Godthab departed the Bubble in the beginning of 3308. In the beginning of 3309 he had reached Magellan's Star, the easternmost system of the Galaxy located in the Tenebris, and he is still spending time in the Tenebris after 6 months or so. Reaching Magellan's Star was one of the achievements originally scheduled during the solo expedition; and after having completed it, he decided to explore a little further before taking the return path on the Arm looking for the jumping way to Centaurus Reach.
Magellan's Star(Ood Fleau) - Void's Blink(Chanoa) - Pamplemousse(Dryeou Flaae)On his way from Magellan's Star to Void's Blink, which was said to have an Earth-Like World, the sparseness of stars was getting to be less and less concerned as he continued jumping. Injections were not needed any more; the normal jump ranges without injection were sufficient enough to proceed the journey. Injection management felt much easier for him compared to his experience in the Arm's End run.
An Earth-Like World in Void's Blink, Chanoa QK-C d14-0Looking at the Earth-Like World as well as the Milky Way behind it, he imagined what it would be like should the terraforming and habitation plans be executed here - far from the Bubble. Once you go out of the Bubble you rarely see the stations which implies how tough it is to carry out construction plans for that huge size of structure without quick and consistent supply chain of building resources, let alone working resources.
Having bid farewell to Void's Blink he then headed to Pamplemousse in Dryeou Flaae area which held a huge giant star. Next waypoint is going to be a DSSA carrier; after the carrier visit he needs to go on to quite a long-distance leg returning back into Lyra's Song region.
