What a rush!

So, I decided to take my brand new DBX out for a spin, see how my build would hold up in different scenarios.First I did some in-system smuggling, the maneuverability and speed was totally adequate for those sort of mission. Pass.
Then I stumbled upon a combat zone sortie mission in the bulletin board.
Decided that this would be the perfect opportunity to test out Cortés in combat.
Jumped into the system, searched for an high intensity combat zone and went in head first.
Against smaller ships I managed pretty good, better than my old asp would've managed combat, but nowhere near as good as my combat spec vulture.
Suddenly I found myself in the crossfire of TWO enemy anacondas, the DBX took a beating and I had to bail the battle for urgent repairs, since I lost my canopy and had 22% hull left.
The jump to the next system was desperate, since I had 1 min 49 seconds of oxygen left when entering. A panicked dash for the nearest station, managed to enter the hangar with 44 seconds left.
Did all the necessary repairs in a timely fashion and quick jump back to the battle, still had four ships to take down for the mission.
Decided to concentrate on the smaller fighters this time, since the DBX can't hold long against bigger ones.
Jumped back in the same CZ I was earlier and felt the hair on my neck rise up when I heard the announcement...
"WARNING. Capital ship jump signature detected."
With a huge rumbling a flashing cloud burst out from the wormhole that appeared in front of my eyes. I stared in horror an awe, as the huge capital ship slowly began to glide out of witch space.
Then rejoiced, when I saw the marker on it turn green. Our side had sent in reinforcements!
It was truly a sight to behold! An epic moment in the truest form!
Oh, and I managed to get the required kills too and complete the mission.
So all in all a good day.
