Sunday morning strategizing

Top priority is to get the next Thargoid Hunter star. After that, concerted effort to solo a Medusa. #1 Thargoid mode: 400 scouts and 8 Basilisks for the next Thargoid Hunter star. Should happen in the next few days. Had a pretty encouraging joust with a Medusa and loaded up on Guardian materials for premium ammo for some attempts in the near future.
#2 Traveller/Explorer: some inclination to visit Codex sites.
#3 Soldier: 7,600 at the moment, 10,000 needed for the next star. Expect to have a bit over 8,000 in a few days. Will probably hit pause on this after the Thargoid star. Will be much easier to rack up kills during an Incursion.
#4 Passengers: Going to have to be in a different state of mind to work on this. Again, it feels counterproductive to do this without an Incursion.
#5 Data stores: Good, but not great. Another round of wake scanning at a famine site might be reasonable.
#6 Raw mats: Topped everything off this week.
#7 Manufactured mats: OK.
#8 Trade: Doing more trade than usual as a counterpoint to the Thargoid scout grind.
#9 CQC: Did a few sessions this week with mediocre results. Letting my pilot fly and doing some practice in the fighter. Revisit this topic after getting the next Thargoid star.
#10 Other: Tested the waters with Low Temp Diamonds to finance a storage Anaconda. Traded 160 with no problem - better than I would have expected from the forums. Edit: I've never made the run out to Witch Head - might do that & tag the engineer Chloe Sedesi there this week.
Found workarounds to 2 remote release flak launcher issues that had been plaguing me. (1) If you flip the ship in a Reverski before the boost wears off, it causes weird behavior. (2) If the launcher is on the bottom mount on a Chieftain, under some circumstances, a repair limpet will deflect the flak round. Changed the mount and seems to fix the problem.
When I was struggling with aim in Flight Assist Off, I reread Zen and the Art of Archery and worked through CMDR Hobs' videos. It was weird how quickly things came together when they finally clicked.
