Well, it is the new year and a time for change, I guess. My end of year performance review was ok, but I got slammed for not keeping records. In my line of work, one does not always want to ‘keep’ records, but the faction bean keepers want me to document my day to day a bit more.I am not rostered today, so I decided to do my annual trip / pilgrimage and try grab some extra materials to keep my ships running.
The old Jameson Crash site is somewhere I go every year as it reminds me how fragile life can be out here in the blackness of space.
My old friend Clark Barrow met his demise at the hands of the Thargoids at HIP 16613 1A and I travelled out there to visit the crash site. I even managed to find the SRV he tried to escape in after his ship crashed. Poor bugger what a way to go.
Next on my list was a trip to Dav’s Hope. That old base is a treasure throve of junk and materials just lying around the place. I spent a couple of hours running around gathering a few bits and pieces that will come in handy someday.
A long day indeed and I was glad to get back to the carrier in Sapill. Not looking forward to work tomorrow.
