PERSONAL LOG 09/01/3308 – Hauling, Hauling more hauling.

I had hoped to take a couple of days off and find a nice quiet bar on an out of the way planet but who ever gets to do that.The nice sleep I was enjoying was terminated by a call to action alarm. FRC "needed" me....
So, FRC is a corporate faction and loves all things commercial and financial in nature. It's strong and efficient merchant navy is protected some of the best pilots I have ever seen. They wanted pilots to haul cargo big time.
The community in Colonia was set up a few years ago but is a little difficult to get to, being 20K light years away with nothing in between. Over the last couple of years FRC and other factions have developed a network of stations and ships to mark out a permanent route to Colonia. The end result is a safer route there that enables commerce to grow.
After a lot of political wangling the opportunity to place a number of new stations along the route has opened up and the FRC Board needed all pilots to haul cargo to support the effort.
Three days I have been hauling Thermal Cooling Units to Alcor - itself a bit out of the way. Happily the profit has been really good despite having to bride station masters for their stock of coolers. Everywhere was selling out like the end of days and they were hard to find. Eventually I found a station with a large supply and filled up the carrier and got busy offloading in Alcor.
I am not sure if I can do anymore hauling, the ship needs a service and is making a strange noise every so often. I need to get it checked out soon.
