After a week of war at Carnai, finally we won and our fleet went back to Cubeo for maintenance and rearm. Like every war hundreds of brave pilots are death and some ships took some heavy damage.I woke up and headed to the bridge as the computer says we entered Cubeo. My hair was messed up but I dont want to come late.
I set the coordinates in my super cruise assistent and went to the bathroom to make myself ready for the media and my fleet.
Everytime a few reporters awaiting me at the dock to ask questions or get a photo of me. A few minutes later my ship dropped out of supercruise and I went to the bridge and took over the controls.
The large docks are filled with two Majestic Interdictors and a few smaller ships for repairs and rearms. The flight controll hailed me and soon the coordinates for docking showed up on my main panel.
Following this I activated the autopilot and went to the window on the right side of the bridge to see how much damaged my capital ship INV Aisling's Hope is.
Some little burned areas and one hole in the left side of the gravitation producing ring.. overall nothing really bad.
With a little bump the computer docked and the airlock activates and released the giant stair down to the landing pad.
I entered the airlock and stepped down the stairs with a little smile as the cameras shot pictures of me. Withour answering a single question I went to the elevator and the hatch closed behind me.
The captain of the Aisling's Hope awaited me inside and told me some details and how long the repairs would take.
We arrived at the bridge and a couple of officers and mechanics are hurrying over the bridge to do her jobs.
I walked to the window and looked all over the massive front area with its turrets and heat arrays.
My arms are crossed behind my back of my white dress and some officers noticing me with a smile and bowed in front of me.
I dont really care for this tradition, since everybody knows I'm against that old things and habits.
So I noded in agreement and headed to the messhall to discuss with the captain and other officers about our next mission.
After hours of talking and strategic plans, I leaved the ship and went to my Cutter to get some rest.
