Princess Aisling Duval meets Lei Cheung

Today I woke up a little late, the last days was exhausting and long. So I decided to have a relaxed day and heading back to Cubeo. I walked to the kitchen to make me a tea and some breakfast as my computer told me about a message on the priority channel.
"Lei Cheung from Traders Rest here, I need to talk to you Princess about the Shield Systems. I will optimize your shield in exchange for your time".
I logged in the Universal Cartpgraphics and checked his position. It was only 30 Lightyears away from me and I dont have any things to do.
So I responded that I'm comming in a few hours to his base with my Cutter. He replied instantly and agreed with my visit happily.
After this conversation the FSD charged up and we jumped to his system. A few moments later my ship dropped in Supercruise and I scanned his
System for enemys and intresting things. His base was located on a sulfur planet called Trader's Rest and it was really a busy there. I saw about
20 freighters from Adder to the big Type 9 from Lakon. A ship I loved as child because it was so big and bulky. So I activated the coms and requested a
landing pad as an automatic voice directed me to the destination, I retracted the landing gear and softly touched the ground.
The airlock activated and my computer warned me about the air outside the dock. I think his venting system is not operating under normal parameters to safe energy and air.
So I decided to come in my flightsuit and dont dress up as usual. The stair extended and I walked down to the dock and the only person there was a man with blond hair. It was
Lei Cheung, known for his shield technology improvement and sensor calibration. He smiled as he saw me and hold out his hand to shake it. I agreed and shaked his hand and smiled back
as he told me we are going to his park. We arrived at a huge dome, filled with plants and trees and the air quality was impressive. It was like the forests on Emerald, my birthplace.
We sat down at a table with two cups and a basket full of fresh bread, he talked about the fascinating prismatic shield system and wanted to know more about it. I answered some questions and offered
him to show him my shield system at my ship. He happily agreed and we talked about some things like trading routes and pirating at this sector. About two hours later we entered my ship and he was a bit
suprised of my internal compartments and the fact that my ship has a lot more defensive and offensive systems as normal fleetversion cutters. After that I showed him my shield generator and he typed a lot
on his pad and was walking around to see all the monitors and sensors. He told me that he could improve my shield about 40% more strenght. I was confused, since the impirial shipyards told me they did their best.
He was an expert on this so I decided to let him do and two hours later he completed his changes. We restarted the shield systems and he didnt lie to me, amazing my shield was a huge load stronger then before.
I thanked him for this and he invited my to dinner and after this masterpiece of engineering I did not refuse to go. We had a few hours of talking and joking with some really good meal. We sat a few more hours
in his little part and watched the ships coming and leaving the facillity. Then I leaved because the things tomorrow will happen and he thanked me for my visit and the chanche to improve my systems. I smiled and
thanked him for the nice threatment today and leaved then with my Cutter in the dark and empty space. The last thing I saw before I went to bed was a white dwarf. Impressive and scary!
