So having had the dough to trick out all my ships nicely, I saw little reason to delay my much planned Deep Space expedition, marked out my first 1000 light years, and launched. I'm pointing at a pretty dull section of sky, staying under the "equator," and headed "Northwest" to see if I can find the nearest corner of the neutron fields there, but also spotted a tiny nameless nebula which I'll use as my final destination, some 24,000 light years out.Keeping the Rat Channels open -- maybe I can't rat race, but I can Dispatch from anywhere.
