I don't even know how long I was asleep. Due to freak malfunction of my life support, I think I went into some kind of coma for a year or two but my life support suit kept me alive, albeit barely. Just catching up on Galnet tells me that the galaxy is a much smaller place with people zipping to Sag-A in days vice the months it took me to get there. And the Thargoids...sound terrifying. I haven't gotten up the courage to seek out an encounter yet.After an hour or so of recalibrating my controls and trying to dust the cobwebs out of my brain I docked, bought an Eagle, and set about re-learning how to fly. I am not sure how I am going to make my way. Black Dynamite, my Anaconda is going to sit for a while in drydock getting an overhaul. I think I'll try mining for a while.
