STUEMEAE KM-W C1-342 - Armstrong Landing
I could still see the traces left by the previous expedition from the ship as I was about to complete the final alignment maneuvers with the ground level for the landing. From this system it is still possible to see the black hole of Sagittarius A* standing out in the space, a little more than a light year from here. This rest will be useful for me to plan the next route and enjoy a little more of the sense of accomplishment.
Getting to Sagittarius A* is the strongest emotion I have ever experienced in my career as a pilot and explorer. The black hole itself is impressive: huge and menacing it looks like a ravenous mouth waiting to devour anything that comes within its grasp. However, I spent several minutes orbiting around and staring at the distortion due to the tremendous gravitational attraction capable of swallowing even the light and this terrible and at the same time fascinating spectacle made me lose track of time.
Reaching the center of the galaxy was my dream since I started flying a sidewinder and pressing the command that would bring me here filled my heart with pride; I think back to the stages of approach that brought me here: from The Dryau Awesomes I approached and crossed the Shrogaei Nebula Cluster enjoying the view during the approach. The trip then continued to Hypoe Flyi HW-W e1-7966 (Galionas) and Hypoe Flyi HX-T e3-295 (Caeruleum Luna and Mysturji Crater).
Galionas is a small planetary nebula containing a black hole and several gas giants immersed in a green sky made of cosmic dust. The Mysturji crater is instead a great place to land and enjoy the view of the sky lit by billions of nearby stars of the galactic nucleus. Further on, I visited the Great Annihilator with its two black holes, passing through Zunuae HL-Y e6903 and Byoomao MI-S e4-5423 also known as Wulfric and then pointing the ship towards the center.
I think I'm going to visit Explorer's Anchorage station in the STUEMEAE FG-Y D7561 system first to take advantage of the station and its repair service and maybe stop at the bar to enjoy the human company before resuming the journey to the other end of the spiral: Beagle Point.
