I gotta give it to Dorn, he knows his work. I don't know if anyone else could have done what he just did with the life support system. We started off slow, just applying phosphorus and manganese to select parts, not quite sure why but I don't question the expert while he's focusing. Eventually, though, he showed me how to gradually replace the main body of the entire life support system, bit by bit, with various lightweight alloys, including phase alloys, proto light alloys and proto radiolic alloys. We've sacrificed some module integrity in the proccess, sure, but in return it's over 80% lighter. It's insane.

Nyx jumps 76.5 Ly on a full tank now. 73.5 Ly if I upgrade the tank to double, which I honestly might do. Will let me neutron jump more often without rerouting to a fuel star. Although with the life support integrity being lower I'll have to make sure the constant neutron jumps don't fry my oxygen supply. That'd be bad.

I'll need to ask Dorn what exactly then phosphorus and manganese were for. If I'm to do these upgrades by myself once I'm in the Bubble, I'll need to know all the details. Life support is not a module you'd want to fuck up by accident.

Comrey out.
