I've been at Jaques for a while now. Not gonna lie, I do like it here. I feel that constant work has burned me out a little bit, and my only lead on Olmanova ended up being a dead end. I'm gonna stay here for a long time, it seems, taking the odd jobs and meeting the right people until I get what I want. Part of me wants to just sit back for a month or two and drink all my issues away, but I suppose that isn't going to solve anything.
Then again, do I really need Olmanova? Or Hicks, for that matter? I've gotten the two things I needed her, everything else is just a bonus. If it's this difficult to get it, it might not even be worth it. Maybe I should just head back to the Bubble?
I'll take some time off and think about it, I suppose. Or, I will after this contract. I was paid to escort a this trader to the Luchtaine system. Didn't even need to rent a combat ship, they just handed me a Vulture and told me to stick close. Wonder if I'll get to keep it afterwards. Guess we'll see.
