The grind for materials

As a new CMDR, I've only just begun my journey through the stars.It has come to my attention that I have only just scratched the surface of space and there is much needed to pursue my ambitions.
I have come to realize that I don't even have the basic materials to upgrade my ships to the up most potential, I have started my journey through documented space/systems to gather all the necessary data needed to increase my material holdings for future use.
