Engineer PvP Templates

In preparation for any coming attacks against EXO I have compiled a few builds that should be effective against our enemies. This is to help guide some of you who are unsure of how to build your ships with the engineers. These builds reflect the current meta and should give you an edge in PvP and even PvE.Shielded FDL Template

Notable experimental effects:

Torpedo (Reverberating Cascade)
Once you have completed your build you should have a ship capable of fighting anyone in the galaxy. Seek PvP practice with the Wolves of 1301 to brush up on your combat skills and maybe even attempt to become a Wolf yourselves!
Edit:
2.2 for the builds I have above. All of them are still viable, however, thermal shock/thermal cascade (heat) weapons are no longer a threat and not needed on your ships. Switching those missiles to drag or more multi cannons will be great substitutes. If you want to play with pulse or burst lasers the G5 rapid fire with phasing sequence is a great combo especially on huge hard points. Overcharged and rapid fire multis with incendiary are still very powerful just be aware they will heat you up the more you have. Always make sure you have an emissive weapon to fight off stealth builds (make sure to keep this as your smallest possible hard point as turreted). If you engage in any PvP be aware of shield breaking torpedoes, ECM will solve that problem with its recent buff.
As always your number one power-play weapon is going to be prismatic shields with Aisling Duval. However, if you already have prismatic shields and are unsure about who you should pledge to for the a good power play weapon I suggest the new one, Yuri Grom, who will give you dumb fire missiles that can reset the targeted ship's FSD, which is great in PvP. That being said within 4 weeks of 2.2 being live those missiles may become a problem in PvP when used against us. Point defense will be necessary when that time comes. Also, Denton will be a good choice with the recent buff to plasma accelerators.
It is also recommended to implement a rail gun into your build that has feedback cascade. This experimental effect disrupts a shield cell bank but will only work if it is fired and lands a hit on the ship using the SCB within the first few seconds of the charge. Landing a successful hit will eliminate the recharge of that bank but will not completely destroy the SCB in future recharge attempts. With such an effect in use you will have to be aware of enemy pilots using it against you. To up your chances of survival try to have a good amount of thermal, and kinetic resistances as well as overall shield strength to avoid having to rely on SCBs.
