[LOG BEGINS - Date: 08223305 - Location: Bates Orbital Station - Segais System]Cap' Marky Mark reporting into my personal log again and fancy be, I managed to set up a bunch of features for this damn recorder! Yeah, It shows some info in the beginning and whatnot. We're gettin' PROFESSIONAL in here.
Well, there's so much I would like to talk about but time is money and more than ever lately since I had my little mining rig up and running. Let's just say that after blowing up my former ASPX, "The Gambler", this second vessel (The Gambler II) is doing wonders to my wallet. Also I've been hired by a corporation here: Starblazer Corp. and they're happy to send over mission after mission for me to complete. So many, in fact that now I'm even a member of the Federation's Army! How's that for a stinky farmer from the outreach? Papa can't fit in his chest on his shirt after he received the news about my first 200 million credits saved. I'll soon be able to afford a trip for the entire family (all 15 of them) to some vacation spot. I even got a Mamba to impress the local girls!
But I found my true passion in the asteroid belts and rocky rings. I'm proud to call myself a miner. There's no sensation like approaching a hotspot, putting on some classical music (Oh yeah, Cap. Marky likes the big works of the classical artists, especially LimpBizkit and Nickelback) and start sniffin' for those yellow wonders to crack.
I hope I get some more wonderful news to report. I gotta go earn today's bread and by that I mean blowing up some rocks and gettin' paid for it. Hehehe, this is HEAVEN!
