Journey to the centre of the galaxy.

So after a brief dinner with my new friend, he departs on his long journey back to the Core Systems. He promises rounds of Centauri Gin when I make it back to Medupe City. Now my journey to the galactic core begins. After a thorough pre-flight check with Panoptes, we launch from Jaques Station. I have my flight computer plot the course to SAG A* and with a heavy sigh...263 jumps! Hours into the trip, I cross the threshhold into Odin's Hold. "There are so many stars lighting up the space around the core." I launch my photo drone out to capture a picture for a postcard to Vee. There is a large number of ringed water worlds just waiting to be scanned by me. My DSS reveals that I am not the first to discover them, but I am the first to map them. ELWs have seem to evaded me so far. On the way to Colonia, I found 2 ELWs which were neither discovered nor mapped. I cashed in on those babies! To this date, the most bodies I have found in a single system have been 57, but I'm sure there are more numerous ones just waiting to be discovered.
As I relax in my comfortable chair, I stare at my galactic map to decide what my next voyage should be after I finish this one. Barnard's Loop and Horsehead Nebula stand out everytime. I made my way as far as the Orion Nebula, but those mysterious COL 70 Sector permit locked systems were preventing my then 34ly jump DBX from getting there. Those permits seemed to mysteriously pop up. "What's going on in there that we need permits?" I'm sure many other commanders are asking that same question. That's Thargoid space down there. Are Far God Cultists up to no good? Is there a mysterious military organization planning an uprising? One can only speculate. Well anyway, enough of that and back to the journey at hand.
Signing off....
