What does the future hold?

I know it's been a while since I logged in but things have been hectic. After our successful recon of the Col 70 Sector, all data pointed to something big on the horizon but were unable to identify what it was. Our return trip had a layover in Ngalinn for a ton of courier missions to curb an outbreak and famine. I was granted rank of Duke because of my quick actions and wealthy donations to help those systems combat the outbreak. Having Duke on my pilot's license allows me to purchase the elegant Imperial Cutter, a ship I've had my eyes on for a long time. I've wanted to submit my application to join the Imperial Security for quite some time but I know I would need a ship worth maintaining peace and order in the Empire. My murderconda would do, but nothing beats the elegance of an Imperial battleship! Vee and I have discussed travelling out into the black outwards passed the Elysium Shore to gather cart data. It would be a long trip, but the payouts for those excursions are totally worth the time out there. This time I would have her with me to keep me sane. We wanted to travel together and explore ever since we were young. With all this nonsense concerning the Golconda, everyone wants to grab a piece of the action. The Empire has stated its purpose for helping out these secluded colonists. I don't get it! Why would you not want our help? We're willing to spare whatever you need, and you just want to be left alone. To each their own I guess. My loyalty is to the Empire. If her Grace wants me transporting supplies or killing pirates, then I do as asked. We need to keep the Federation as far away from them as possible. Once all the fighting settles down, I will take Vee and we'll head out towards the Bubble Nebula, then points beyond for some "us" time. I've wanted to check out the Omega Nebula. I hear there is an asteroid base there. For some reason I find asteroid bases interesting. I know building outposts can be tasking, but building one INSIDE a damn asteroid....skill! I wonder what it would be like to be stationed inside one? I need windows. Even though it's the dark of space, I can still see ships and carriers flying by. At Chelomey Orbital, I get a great view of the Imperial Capital Ships station on the installation orbiting the planet. Senator Patreous really does outdo himself with the designs of these ships. Vee has wanted to serve in his fleet for a while. I've been trying to motivate her into filling out the application. She feels like she'd be dishonoring Princess Duval, but she's still serving the Empire. Don't worry though....I'll get her to do it.
Signing off.....
