The welcoming home message from the Prismatic Imperium reverberates chills throughout my body. I've been away from Imperial space for far too long. LT Welch seems astounded at the beauty of the Imperial stations. She remarks to me that she's never seen such elegance in construction before. I told her that she hasn't seen anything yet! When we finish up here, I promised to take her on a sight-seeing tour of some of the Empire's treasures.
We exit the docks and make our way towards the Commerce division to meet with the heads of the P.I. Gov Allison personally greets me and my crew and we are seated right away with 4 other P.I. heads of state. They speak highly of what we've been doing as a crew and commend our recent rescue efforts of not only Imperial citizens but all citizens of the Witch Head/Pleiades Thargoid incursions. Of the present heads of state, Deputy Falcore was one such evacuee of the Lembass incursion that I rescued. I had no idea of who he was until he said so at this meeting.
They present us with an offer to re-join the Imperial Navy to carry out missions for the Empire, destroy their enemies and assist Imperial citizens. The payment offer is substanially greater than what we have coming in at this moment, so that seems like it alone for be a reason to accept. They continue to offer us our own personal docks on several Imperial stations, as well as exclusive docks on several asteroid mining colonies loyal to the Empire. We speak amongst ourselves, and in no time, agree to accept the offer. Gov Allison has set us up with hubs on Medupe City in Cubeo and Smoot Station in Chona. A fleet of Imperial starcraft are granted to us to carry out our missions repressenting the Empire.
As we depart, huge smiles on our faces, we quickly discuss our new ventures. The crew wants to celebrate at the Rusty Sidewinder for some drinks and eats. Who am I to turn down a celebration? Drinks it is, me mates! A round of grog for everyone! Cheers erupt throughout the pub, glasses get raised and a salute to the Empire! Bottoms up!! Hears to new adventures, new friends and a big ass paycheck!
