I always forget how tedious core mining can be. It can take ages to find an asteroid with fissures, and when you do, there's no guarantee it'll be what I'm looking for. Alexandrite, Bromellite, low-temperature diamonds...but almost never void opals. I've been out in this ring for over an hour now, and have only found two suitable asteroids to crack so far. I'd question how 'pristine' it really is...
After a bit over two hours, I called it quits, taking a haul of 72 tonnes. According to the database, Darkport station in the Calarum system has the best price at the moment.
Having cashed in, I'm heading back to Phiagre. There's still fighting happening on the borders of Ghost Legion space - it's time to rejoin the fighting.
