Commander Adrella//Nightingale//3305-12-23 - Testing the new systems

With the Nightingale's systems overhaul, I decided to take her back out. There had been a communique from Ghost HQ stating there was trouble in Kausha, so I decided to head there and see what help I could lend. Once I'd scanned the comms channels, I headed to a distress call near Kausha 3. There, I found the hulk of an Anaconda. There were no survivors and no clues as to who had made the kill. I examined the cargo, but there was nothing there either. I dropped a buoy and left, leaving the recovery to local authorities.I did another scan and found an SJC Keelback under attack. I dropped in and engaged the pirates, taking down a Challenger and an Anaconda, rescuing the SJC ship. Just as I was about to jump out, I detected another ship, another member of the pirate. I quickly dispatched the Imperial Eagle. I quickly picked up another distress call, so moved to investigate.
Arriving near the origin point at Kausha 2 C, I saw the sensor echo and headed towards it. I found a Viper Mk IV, the Faultless Cross. P "Snakeycakes" Mudra had run dry. Once she was off, I responded to a second distress call, but couldn't find the ship. Either they'd run out of power or fixed their problem.
I checked out a degraded emission and found wreckage. From the looks of it, someone had tried to run some firmware on their ship which is wasn't designed for. That had overloaded the core, destroying the ship. I headed back to Phiagre to change ships, but picked up a distress signal at the edge of the system, so headed out to that before docking at Greeboski's to take out the Greymouth on another mining run.
I found Iain Ross, piloting a Type-6, stranded. I sent a fuel limpet over, then headed back in-system, stopped at an encoded emission on the way, where I found some data and wrekage.
