I've completed Phase 1 of Operation ARTEMIS, unlocking Lei Chung. It was more of a pain then I thought, as I hadn't traded in more than 50 markets (39 at the starting point). Unfortunately, some of my market data was out-of-date, which meant I made some particularly poor trades, especially on a Tritium trade, costing me several million in credits. Once my trading was complete, I loaded up on the gold Chung had asked for and headed for the Laksak system.Chung claimed the gold was primarily used to help refine the shield generator harmonics on particular modifications, but I'm not sure I believe him. More likely, it's just a straight-up bribe. But I know not to look a gift horse in the mouth - if he needs a shipment of gold so I can get access to upgrade shields and other modifications, so be it - at least it's not landmines, like Liz Ryder...
Now that Lei Chung is working with me, I need to continue on with Phase 2 - get Broo his 50t of Fujin tea.
