I called for the Defiant Hermes to be transferred from another station.It took a few days to get her set up, a few new modules added and some additional supplies. All loaded and ready, I scanned the sector map to see what interested me. Statue of Liberty sector caught my eye. A couple hours later a few calculations and course plotted.
My mission. Scout the sector for new planets, mining locations and possible alien sites. I had heard rumours regarding new discoveries out in that sector.
No matter what this was something I needed to do.
It would take a few jumps to get into 'quiet' space and start mapping new systems.
Out into the black.
