Morning on the dark side of the planet. Decided to take my SRV out and explore the area gathering a few needed minerals.Not as much as I needed but at least I was able to gather something. A number of planets scanned, a few water worlds on this first leg nothing new ass yet.
Its never a race these expeditions and you need sometimes to take a nice slow route. Discoveries will turn up if you spend enough time looking. Returning to the ship I took offa and headed for the first waypoint.
Hell Port. Not too far, 8 jumps and I would make that first safe location. A worry in that pirates operate around the port but keep my head and avoid detection I should fly in no hassle.
Entering the system, scanned for the port and locked on. Moved quickly full alert watching the scanners, nothing coming close. Fly around the planet and there it was, Hell Port a rock in orbit close to the sun.
Finally I could relax and set auto pilot for landing. Within 10 minutes I had refuelled and rearmed planning the route to waypoint 2.
60 odd jumps nothing too difficult. I will start in the morning after checking progress of the fleet.
Must make sure I have all my supplies in place before I leave. Rest now start again tomorrow.
