But I did not get discouraged, I insisted and the results arrived. The small "Wollstonecraft II" has done its duty pretty well: she taught me to get by with the new systems and has given me the basics.
Cargo delivery missions between stations, courier missions, some small salvage and items recovery to understand the mechanics and, in the blink of an eye, I found myself with enough credits in my pocket to afford the Cobra Mk III.
Thus was born the "Clarissa M. Mao", a blue spearhead, small but bad enough. The first bounties were the next step: a Nav Beacon in a crowded system, an ounce of two of patience and the help from a nice trio of security ships earned me some extra credit and moved the combat rankings. OK, I'm still harmless but the experience has been important. Combat does not appeal to me much for now. To be effective you must have a ship up to it, otherwise you risk making a bad end. For now, with Clarissa, I have learned to defend myself, to escape pirates and, above all, to have the courage to get out of the beginners' District...
