I think I flew completely parallel to the main route to Colonia. I've mostly encountered undiscovered systems. So now we are here. There is a high-tech system in the neighbourhood, but so far I have not found anyone who sells the bucky-drive. (I think it looks like the ship is bucking). Not a worry though.
I started building a copy of the Edge of Diplomacy (SHARP) to practise more Fark-All off flying.
The Sustained Attack Release Decay (SADR) is more or less a copy of the Colonia-based Nasty Piece Of Work (GNAAA!) (AKA. N.P.O.W. Nee Philosopher's headstone). It looks like I'm slowly assembling a shadow fleet.
Ummm. Yes. Thargoids. None of those here. That's how large a galaxy actually is.
Can't say I miss that aspect of the bubble. Here they won't even notice if the bubble gets razed.
Not that it's paradise here.
But you can't get here in a Furrylance. And shipping one over costs an A-lined Imperial Cutter.
So what now?
Well it looks like I'll be honing my hooning interrupted by uncontrollable bouts of exploration.
Exploration suits my nature. I follow my "oh that looks interesting" compass. Who knows you'll find one of the systems I scanned first.
If you do, hang a soda-bag on your canopy and fire off a heatsink. Have an ice-pop
Remember to remove them before jumping. It gets very messy when you drop near a star and overheat.
Blah blah blah. As the great Manfred von Richthofen (played by Adrian Admondson) said: "I must fly".
