Thargoid Cookiejar?

What's this cookie jar they speak of? There is a cookie jar near Cradle? I want a cookie! ...but I'm several kilo lightyears away from Cradle. By the time I get there it'll be empty.
I think I sold all my AX stuff too. Sounds dramatic "all my AX stuff" but it never was much. I bought some ready-made but the stuff with blueprints... mneh. I won't be hard to keep away from the cookies.
I guess it's fair the Guardian roulette is free but solving the same puzzle over and... well you get it. I tend to get bored.
I wonder if the entire Thargoid thing is going to end with a static crackle on every communication terminal and then a message along the lines of:
Earthlings.
You have been found guilty of attempted genocide.
The galactic senate of elder species has decided you have proven unable to cohabitate.
You will be contained in your "Bubble". Any presence outside that space will be removed.
Any vessel found outside this space will be stopped.
I wonder what I'd do.
I jump in the Jocelyn and try to make it home before operation Peniclillin starts. But I'd be locked in the Bubble with the big ones feeling like a long-track skater on a dance ice-ring.
I could go for Beagle Pointless. One last trek and I'll see where the light goes out.
To be honest that's what exploration is supposed to be like. When you stick your nose everywhere you run the risk of sticking it somewhere where it's not safe or appreciated. Then a max-range ship has little to put up in a fight (as some units seem to know and send welcome wagons to void your research time).
I hear there is a parallel reality where none of this happened though. It's known as Consolia. I could always try and find a wormhole to Consolia and continue there.
Then again, there is a significant date coming up for big ones. Usually that time is connected with stories about positive actions and hope for a better future.
There are old archive entries where warring big ones held a cease fire on this date. Of course they resumed shooting at each other after that, but it was a nice symbol.
For now I'm just doing some trading and teaching "no is no" to types who try to take my cargo. It's not too crowded here though, which is fine by me.

When flying with FA off I am doing fine now with flying an eagle through the sides of a Coriolis station. I can land. I can take off. But fighting...
I completely lose what I'm doing.
How do you guys do it? I can't land any shots. I'm too far, too close or tumbling.
A long way to go.
