Beta gone - so has the reliability for tonight at least 16-04-2017

Well, I've been bashing away over the past week trying to get ever closer to my destination...Beagle Point! I've changed tactics several time since over the week, all the time thinking of different ways to ensure I get there in one piece and stake my claim to having gone as far as I can in the game...then, having achieved this (my goal since I started in March 2015) I intend to scan everything I can, at my leisure, on the way back. Part of this plan, involved getting to sub 20k Ly from target by tonight. However, now that 2.3 is officially in game now...all hell has broke loose with Cmdrs all going absolutely crackers as one by one echo is subjected to glitches and gaffs affecting their game performance all night. Me....definitely affected - hence the withdrawal from the game tonight. Simply it's too risky! I've crashed several times tonight, with each jump taking longer and longer to complete .....the very odd one was of a normal timeframe, but most (for tonight) have been at least two minutes in length .. some even up to FOUR minutes jump time! And THAT is just from 4-3-2-1 engage to landing in the next system! I figured, that at some point, I might even suffer a crash when I'm down to my last jump before refuelling...only to find myself back in game (when I get back in) without enough fuel to make it to another system, or even enough to get back to the star of the system I've landed in. After 45 thousand lights years travel, on top of a previous 44 thousand light year journey (stopping only at Colonia to fix my ship and buy a second AFMU) I am definitely not risking anything tonight. The jump honk scoop was becoming 'comfortable' but thanks to tonight's glitches had become very nervy and I decided the BSR technique was wisest tonight! So ....that's it Cmdrs....instead of reaching tonight's goal of being less than 20k Ly from Beagle Point.. I've only managed to get to 20,049k Ly from Beagle....49 Light years...but 49 Light years I'm not prepared to risk! Fly safe Cmdrs....and I'll see you in the Dark o7
