Knee jerk entry

Extremely busy night on the him front meant that, despite all efforts I was only able to bang in a quick 1500 Ly tonight, but it got me 'inside' the 20k Ly to get to Beagle, the glitches and faux pas in game are by all accounts still causing everyone grief and tbh I had noticed a change for the better - the long jumps (seconds or even minute wise) of last night appear to have gone, which makes it even more frustrating to not be able to progress further tonight. That's not to say it was all easy tonight, the initial few jumps were longer than usual but it settled down after four or five to what I would normally expect...so I have to look at tonight as 1500 Ly gained as opposed to any progress lost. Keeping a positive frame is important now, being relatively close, and that goes for concentration as well. I'm by no means expert at Exploring, still quite novice at it despite being halfway through Ranger rank. I'm enjoying myself out here...it's easy to get lost in your own little world, something I intend to do in a great deal more depth after I've actually landed at my destination. To finally set landing gear down on BP2 will be my licence to really explore...getting back can take all the time it wants, my achievement (as I see it) will be mine....I can tell myself I've been there and need not go again, but I know that I will. But why I've yet to decide, best to get this first time done and done properly first... as for Space Madness??? It gets to you out here..IF you let it! I just read everyone else's exploits here on the iPad as I'm jump honk scooping - I don't bother chatting with anyone because, like I said before, concentration is key (imo) so far into the trip! It only takes a bad approach into a binary to send me back to Colonia - and I ain't planning to go there ... just yet! I still have far too much to see and achieve. I want Elite Explorer - I'm having it!
