Dear Diary

Went to examine that other wrecked conda. Of course its pitch black dark again ... maybe it will be brighter, because the planet does rotate. And the terrain is not bad at all compared to the first conda. You actually can drive about without hitting stuff all the time. And it's not polluted by tons of cargo containers as well, which is another good thing ... even if i kinda miss to bump them around like billard balls. The 0.9 gravity helps too. I read something about thargoids sometimes visiting, but not doing anything but scanning ... we will see how that works out.

Hey, and 420 lightyears from jameson is not that much anymore, since the ASP now has about 45ish LY range, even with all the crap built into it. Feels kinda nice.

And there seems to be a Cobra wreck somewhere too, i have a bookmark for it but did not visit it yet.

Whoops, the creepy things just came to pay a visit. Two of them. They look cool on a pitch black world. Scanned that conda wreck a lot. Oddly enough they seem to make a sound on a world without an atmosphere ... mmmk, either the british have to clue how physics work ... or things changed a lot within a thousand years. It's hard to decide ...

Next system had a real lot of thargoid sites on FSS, from danger level 4 to 6. Maybe it's not the best place to be.

At least i visited all the relevant traders (raw/manufactured/datastuff) and got the parts i needed for the engineering chicks. Had the 5A FSD maxed out, and did some work on my wake scanner as well. It does not make that big a difference if it has 3km range or 4km range, but it's not that bad. Might have gone for faster scan time instead, future Ted will have to do that.

Funny stuff when i visited Dav's Hope again: While landing i saw something in the corner of my eye, went closer to see what that is, and immediatly got a fine or two for trespassing ... how crazy is that ? I thought the whole thing is aboned by now ? So tried to find me some interstellar factors service to get rid of the annoying entry in my menu.

Still messing around with the gamepad though. In fact i seem to have no idea what i am doing. Reading all the stuff on the web seems to not give me a clue as well ... most of the times it simply contradicts itself.

I can do it in steam, as well as in E:D ... but the stuff is not saved all the time, seems to reset itself if i select some stuff i want it to do that does not work with other stuff. And i think steam is responsible for sometimes offering some more options in the E:D options menu, that are gone again later on. Never should have bought that over steam i guess. Sometimes bargains seem to be costly in the end, even if it's just a effing ton of convoluted settings to weed through.

At least I got the SRV do most of the things i want it to do ... just flying around and pitching, yawing, accellerating ... way beyond me, could not get that to work at all. It always did half of the things it should and cleared the rest, sigh. Maybe i have to keep flying around using KB/M.

At least i found where the settings are stored ... %LOCALAPPDATA%, made a copy of it as it almost seems to work now, don't want to have it wrecked by any stupid move, or by the next update.
Do you like it?
