Ooof ... I bought a Type 10 today, and now i am on my way to get it dressed up by one of the engineering chicks. I wonder: is it only me that thinks that things is a flying brick ? Or is it more of a mini-van, and only soccer moms are able to pilot it ? Or did I just forget to retract the landing gear somehow ? Up to now i could not figure that out. For a moment i thought they introduced stationary stuff and maybe it is not supposed to move once i left the landing pad for the first time.It's really weird how slow that thing is to roll left or right, and i really need another term for acceleration, because ... well ... there hardly is any. But there can be a lot of cargo space, even if i keep the pool in one of the cargo compartments, which seems good. On the plus side it does at least not heat up like crazy when scooping at a star ... like that crazy Krait used to do. And docking is really easy even if you forget to fit a docking comp like i did ... it's so slow moving and inert, you cannot ram a thing in the station by accident. So no drive-through getting a dinner at PingPong's in that ship at Sinatra Blabla. So that boat will keep my costs down for replacing damaged glass panes - i could see that as another plus.
But then again, it's supposed to fly around, isn't it? So being easy to dock maybe is not that important in the end. I have an idea what they are getting at - they want me to mine ! ... BOOOORING!
Big surprise when i met the engineering chick at that planetary station ... it was daylight, not pitch black for a change, and i could see something outside, which was a first. I had that sneaking suspicion she always dimmed the lights because she was not that beautiful, well i might have been wrong there. Of course she is far from being an Aisling, but compared to the other shrew at Deciat she ... well, was not that bad looking. You somewhat have to lower your standards around here, that much i learned. So maybe with a lot of alcohol, and a flag ... at least i had enough of the stuff i needed to get the 7A FSD maxed as well as my shield generators and the thrusters - although i have no clue what the clean and dirty tuning really does. Bought it anyway.
Apparently PingPong does not have a restaurant here, which is very sad ... i might have to go for a salad in one of the glas domes then. I would rather eat a vegetarian than be a vegetarian, but sometimes you seem to have no choice but to eat like the rabbits do - it's space after all, and the 35th century, sigh.
I really like those boys coming around to my site every other minute while im mining for raw minerals ... but do they have to be so loud ? They sound like they have a really bad case of indigestion, and some of that green stuff they spattered around that conda made me look up a lot of times.
