It has taken me over 4 years.Over 4 years since the founding of the Federal Galactic Systems, but I have finally done it.
Today I have claimed the system of Grovii, it marks the last system within 20ly of my home of Gurus to be brought under control.But it is done.
I now have an entire bubble of FGS-controlled space in my little corner of the galaxy. I took breaks, hiatus, lapses of inactivity, but ultimately hours upon hours of back-breaking hard work - both good and ugly - but it has been done.
It has certainly been a nice accomplishment. Not nearly as fun as the mass retreat of the Coalition of Pano from Hu Jing Te that ended with my entire system takeover at once at the time, but for some reason this hard fought war for control over the week was significantly more satisfying in the end.
I gained only one port this time, but its the port that counts and I am glad for it.
Don't know where I am going after this, but one thing's for sure - it has sure been a blast.
