I've been trying to head on a generally outward track, picking up little courier or transport jobs here and there. Got involved in an inter-party dispute that had me landing on some rock world to swipe some data. Shot down some skimmers, so that was fun, but I think these people might have got the impression that I care about their nonsense.Anyway, like I said, outward. But then I got a message from some engineer named Felicity Farseer - gotta be a pseudonym - that I should come visit her. (No idea how she heard of me, but whatever.) But she's hundreds of lights away, and the thing she apparently wants to allow me to make an introduction is even farther away. So... do I bother? I don't know if it's worth it, but if it turns out I really need her services some day, but I've gone even farther away.... Ugh. Nobody told me about this kind of thing in flight school.
