No, no, I'm all right, really

OK, not sure exactly where it happened, but it seems I picked up some sort of bizarre virus or bug during one of my planetary explorations some time ago. According to my log recordings (though I have no recollection of this) at the autodoc's suggestion, I permitted it to put me into a medically induced coma to keep me alive while it tried every trick and drug in its fairly extensive toolkit to figure out what was going on and how to treat it. I can't tell from the autodoc records if it identified the pathogen or if the infection went away due to treatment or on its own. What I do know is this: I was basically stuck in place on some nameless ball of rock, unconscious, for about four months. I seem to be fully recovered now - not even a lingering sore throat or rash - and my autodoc has almost exhausted its supplies. So I'm heading back toward the Bubble, hopscotching along whatever neutron highways I can find and exploring the systems I pass through. No reason to give up that opportunity. I mean, I spotted this gorgeous pair of water worlds dancing around each other as they circled their primary. Called them The Dancing Pearls.
Assuming I don't suffer a relapse, I should be back to so-called "civilization" in a relatively short time. Don't worry, I'll give whatever station I land at plenty of warning to do a full decontamination on my ship, my SRV, and me, inside and out. And I hope I never have to go through that again.
