It's slow going. I have had to boost my FSD a couple of times to avoid dead ends, but I've been pretty lucky about finding neutron stars to shove me along at speed.Ran across this little fella today. I named him The Swallower, because... well, that's what they do, right? I am always nervous about getting too close, so this is not the best photo, but I'd rather not lose a camera drone if i can avoid it.
Surprisingly, I am kind of itching to get back to the Bubble. I've been gone for so long, I expect it will feel like a whole new place. I've picked up radio chatter about fleet carriers, and they sound pretty impressive. Mobile stations that can jump 500 ly in one swoop. Imagine how much that would speed exploration! But I am undoubtedly ages away from being able to afford one, so that will have to wait. Goals!
