To the galactic core: halfway

Well, it's taken days, but we're closer to the core than we are to the bubble. Kindof amazing that with all these stars there ain't a new alien race every third hour. Kensi says the science team are still going on about physics and gravity and mass and... hell if I know what they're expecting to learn from more scans of Sag A. Don't much care. For all her love of flying, I think Lauren's getting twitchy about this much zero-G already. Can't say I blame her... I'm feeling kind of the same. This is definitely my longest float, and it feels weird. Don't know how outpost personnel handle it.
I thought I'd get bored real quick, but somehow, getting a sense of just how big our galaxy is, I'm enjoying the perspective.
