May 1st, 3308These latest events with the Thargoids have shown me things that don’t add up. Invaded systems appear as Allegiance:Thargoid on the map. Makes sense. Hard to debate who the main power in the system is during incursion. But Polaris is different. I can’t find a permit to this system anywhere. I haven’t heard of anybody acquiring it either. But a quick system inquiry show the same Allegiance:Thargoids. So where’s the Permit? It’s only the freaking North Star. System has a population. Ceos and Sothis are the closest systems but they are frequented so often, the permit would have been found long ago. So… where’s the permit? A quick survey of the surrounding area shows very little. Asteroid clusters are frequented by a few miners and pirates. Not much here really. Put my name on a few ignored planets in some surrounding systems. Strange since you’d think the whole area would have been thoroughly mapped. I’ll expand my search radius and continue investigating. 1 glimmer of hope. 1 NPC pilot named Robert Holdstock! Didn’t have a wake scanner to follow him. Get a wake scanner! Definitely following this lead.
