Weekend Roundup!
09 Mar 2020MsValkyrie
This is the Weekend Roundup. Coming at you from luxurious Fozard Dock, I am Ms Valkyrie.
Great News! The infrastructure that plagued the Dock for several days has FINALLY been rectified! Diligent pilots from all over transported vast amounts of supplies into Fozard Dock to help in the rebuilding process. It's safe to say that all repairs are complete and the Dock is back to 100% viability. Syndicate council commends every last pilot who helped in their time of need. It is also safe to say that this was in no way contributed to the tribble outbreak! That is a entirely separate incident that has been caught and put under control. The CMDR in question, who asked to remain anonymous, has had his mail-slut privileges revoked for a week.
In regards to the ongoing manhunt: the offending criminal has been caught! SYN4 Security Forces have captured the wanted felon and impounded his vessel. An anonymous tip led to the capture and prosecution of this individual. The rogue commander has stated he was working on orders from The Republic Party in HIP 21459 to undermine the state and security of our home system. We have reached out to The Republic Party in HIP 21459 and they have stated that they have no knowledge of who this individual is nor would they act maliciously towards a neighboring faction. SYN4 leaders have begun to rally and act upon this heinous show of cowardice and have en massed a fleet of war ships to prepare for any further action. Republic Party....You've been put on notice! We will not tolerate murder of innocent pilots!
In other news, Expansion has begun in almost every system the Syndicate is present in. Each day more and more citizens yearn to be part of the Syndicate. Native factions are having a hard time thwarting our efforts of undermining them and eventually submit control over to us. Rarely do our systems face heightened states of unrest. SYN4 citizens live a healthy and prosperous life.
Time to Vote, SYN4! Calling all citizens! The time to vote is now. HIP 20679 is holding an election. Pilot Syndicate 4 and HR 1354 Jet Netcoms Interstellar are fighting for control of Hugh Terminal. SYN4 has won 2 days of the election so far and are looking to win the election in a landslide. Get out there and do your part! Vote YES for SYN4!
In other news, LITTER, LITTER EVERYWHERE! Something seriously needs to be done about this. It's bad enough that discarded limpets are going to outnumber stars very soon, but dumping your waste planetside? This is a disgusting sight. Eco-activists have taken to the media to voice their opinions on the matter. CEO of the eco group, Cash for your Trash Jerry Lane, has said that his group have urged careless pilots to dump their waste at stations bearing the C4T logo to receive a small profit. Space fairing tours have reported client displeasure in visiting tourist beacons planetside only to see wasted limpet containers and cargo racks. A representative for Cubeo Jet Council has reached out to this reporter stating that they will set up a task force to clean up pilot waste and enforce illegal dumping procedures throughout Imperial space.
Speaking of the Empire, an advocate for Nova Imperium has reached out to CMDR Lilli and myself for an interview. Nova Imperium wish to speak to us on the state of the Empire. We have accepted the invitation to Paresa to hold the interview.
In our new section called: Views of the Wonder, we would like to showcase our commander's views from around the galaxy.
The preceding photos were taken by CMDR LilliSWE and crew. The gaseous rock fumaroles are located on Achenar 2. These are a prime location for collecting raw materials for engineering purposes.
!!NOW HIRING!! Pilot Syndicate 4 is hiring independent pilots. No matter your expertise, whether it be combat, trade, exploration, or bug hunting, we welcome it all! We offer a friendly staff. Fully stocked Centauri Gin, Lavian Brandy and all kinds of perversions at the famed "mail-slut" bar...when there isn't a tribble outbreak! If interested, please fill out the proper application in the squadron section on your ship computer.
This wraps up the Weekend Roundup for this week. See you out in the black.
