Misterious Failures

Today I took the time to investigate the multiple fails in the ships. Apparently, encounters with Thargoids ships have the side effect of malfunctioning the supercruise assistant. Even after basic repairs have been made, the defect remains, and every time I'm leaving the jump the automatic deceleration fails! Even after maintenance on the space station, the problem persists. It is a mystery because the defect disappears from nowhere. Mining socket failures seem to be related to the trigger settings, however they also disappear from nowhere too.
