I have just purchased a Drake Class Fleet Carrier from Jacobi Platform in the Lan Tzak system. She is big and hungry. I named her KAT LLC Dreamweaver and got the approval from my CEO who says they are looking forward to the Colonia trip we have been planning for weeks. I ordered all services installed and hired the crew then rigged for hyperspace. I set the destination for Bernard's Star outside of Sol then strapped in for the ride. It was a very strange experience that will take some getting used to but after making sure all my limbs made the trip with me, I began the long process of fueling the beast with Tritium.

Just got word from the CEO that they have come down with an illness and need to cancel. As I was considering my options I received word that another allied squadron carrier had lost some crew and they ended up stranded in a detention system far away with no hope of return. I then contacted the captain of The Bunny Ranch MkII and offered my assistance. He said they found a curious cluster of stars way out in the outer arm vacuus region and are headed there now. He accepted my offer to return his crew from the detention system and agreed to my plan to stay and explore the new cluster he found while he continues on.

The announcement was made and boarding has begun. I plotted the course to the detention system which lays just beyond the California Nebula at 1,400 ly distance. For some reason I cannot set the destination as the detention system itself so I set it to a nearby system and we departed right away. We have made it through the nebula and set up station just outside the detention system. I launched the DBX to investigate and entered the system only to immediately be thrown into jail with no escape. Unfortunately, my wingman followed me in and was thrown in jail also. So now here we all sit in jail while the Dreamweaver floats empty like a ghost ship in the nearby system.

We have finally been released from prison! We all rushed to the Dreamweaver and began rigging for hyperspace. The Bunny Ranch has now had a full day head start so we are way behind her now. My main concern is crossing the arm where the stars are thin. I notice our route takes us through the wilds. There are no explored systems anywhere around us. No man has gone here before and soon we will reach stars that no man has ever been able to before. The stars are very thin here but do not seem to prove much of a problem for Dreamweaver's massive jump range.

We have crossed the arm and continue to speed towards the edge of the galaxy. I keep shoveling fuel while my Scout continues to rack up discoveries. The crew is in good spirits now that we are underway and closing on our destination who is also racing away from us at full speed. He may be just as fast as us but he is running out of galaxy.

I have just received the rendezvous system location and am plotting to it now. We should be there in only a few hours time. It has been a wild ride and I have learned much about navigating the galaxy. In a regular ship it would not be possible but the Fleet Carriers make it as easy as walking to the park on a sunny day.
Mission Complete! We have caught The Bunny Ranch MkII and returned her crew. I am now hauling over my Tritium so they can continue their mission.

They are gone and I am alone here at the edge of the galaxy with only the Tritium left in my tank. The sky is so black. I've never seen such blackness.
It appears my wingman was left behind and is now stuck out here with me. We will mine some Tritium while I contemplate our situation.

I have a plan that may be our only hope of reaching our destination. I will survey the surrounding systems within a 100 ly bubble and hope to find a double Tritium hotspot.
No luck. I found some double hotspots but not Tritium so on to plan B. I will now start walking Dreamweaver towards the destination and survey systems on route until either I find the hotspot or run out of Tritium.

Still no double Trit hotspot. I have ran out of fuel and will now survey the surrounding systems in a 100 ly bubble looking for the evasive double Tritium hotspot. If I still don't find one I will have to settle for mining the single here.
