DIARY OF CADET ALAN A. RICHARDSON 0003Dear Diary,
Cadet Barnes lost power to his magnetic boots while using toilet. Let's just say I'm glad I'm not on bathroom duty today. On the plus-side, I'm finally getting used to Zero-G. On the downside, I really miss gravity. The corridors still look the same no matter if you are on the down floor or the up floor. With the carrier being so damn big, I walked for fifteen minutes in the wrong direction, until I walked onto the Bridge, when I should have been in Engineering.
I got berated for being an hour late for my shift. After leaving the Bridge, I turned off my mag-boots to try and make up time. I flung myself down the central corridor, floated, at speed, headlong into Cadet Wilson (of the toilet clean-up crew). I have never seen so much bathroom waste in my entire life. It floats about in globules that... well... Add to that two persons vomit and you can understand the predicament I was in. After a brief rehydration visit to sickbay and a change of overalls, I had to explain to the Lieutenant why I was so late. for my shift.
