Exploring the Stars before our deployment in Joint Task Force Zulu

Dear Diary,Well after I got approval from our Squadron Leader to go into Witch space. I was at Jameson Memorial at the time I heard our deployment was extended until our new base of operation was confirmed. I was given some advice from our leader to visit the Soul Sector and then the Heart Nebula and on my way towards them I stopped by the California Nebula as well. Its been a awesome adventure so far and I have met some dodge characters along the way, and don't forget bout them space pirate too.
The old girl (Asp explorer) (Her name Destiny Awaits) has served me well so far and the has taught me some valuable lessons in deep space. I have had some good and deep conversations with her and she is a great listener in general and don't really say too much on our travels, unless I make a quick jerk she kinda creeks a bit. Her view on deep space she shows you is really the biggest asset she has, which makes your travels so much easier. We have a bit over 8000LY traveled so far and our journey will be completed in a couple of days by our planning just in time for deployment at our new base. Just another 9000-10000LY to go to get back and on our way back looking to visit the Elephants Trunk Nebula before setting a straight route for home.
I was informed that when we return that our base should be confirmed by the Interstellar council as they need to find the best suited spot for our operations. So taking it calm and relaxing now until all the investigations and information gathering on suspects might do me well.
Here is to a couple more off days old girl, lets face into the next system and scan away to our hearts content.
