The fight for Golconda in UPANIKLIS
12 Nov 2019RoguePLC
Commanders log 11/11/3305,The fighting is intensifying within the Upaniklis system between members of all factions as well as that of JTFZ. I was also one to be ordered to go into the system to engage in the system with our goal to neutralize the pirate activity within the sector. This while being solo as I was unable to join my fellow wing members due to technical difficulties had to take on the task as a solo wing in the meanwhile.
The best place to look for these pirates was the Hazardous Extraction sites for me, opened my left panel and looked for the best place to go, "Great, nice hazardous extraction site located" I selected the site and headed out. Upon arrival the area seemed clear with only a few miners going about their business. This was short lived when two winged Anaconda's jumped on the one unsuspected miner.
I will not stand by and have a innocent get slaughtered with me just as an onlooker and not doing anything. I darted towards the two pirates while deploying my Kill warrant scanner and scanned the two, I got close to engaged one, so close I could smell the hyper drive fumes coming out from the rear. He rolled over to engage me but by that time his shields was down and I was eating away at his hull with all my Multi cannons. His friend came to his assistance just too late as I drilled the last finishing shell into his friend. Now it was a 1v1 again. I dumped a Shield bank and reinforced my shields, we both were chipping away the each others shields, him having a bit of an advantage as he was throwing out countermeasures to get my guns off him. The fight continued with other pirates coming in to investigate and then leave but after some time, he followed in his friends footsteps and I was met with a nice 360K kill. After several trips back to the port and the extraction zone I was destroying between 6 to 8 pirates with only a few shield banks and in a still to be proper Anaconda. The fighting will have to wait for now as I need sleep and my ship needed more repairs. I docked and left the ship for the tech guys to fix. Now for some shut eye till tomorrow when more pirates will be scratching my paint job and meeting my multi-cannons before they will be turned into a fireball.
I hope your hunts was as successful as mine or even better I know, but the fight is won not by just one CMDR but by the collective of all others out there.
I bid you all a good night and will see you in the fight again tomorrow.
Kind Regards,
CMDR RoguePLC
