Sometimes it's a grind.

For the first time in my career I landed my ship on the surface of a planet. Not at a port, but on the actual planet. It took me a while to find a suitable place to land and then I couldn't remember how to get that final 3 meters, but once I remembered some of the training videos I've seen, I realized that my ship wasn't perfectly parallel to the ground. A slight tug on the flight controls and she lined up perfectly and then touch down!!! After shutting down, I moved to the SRV and began my first planet side adventure.I spent the morning traveling around Dav's Hope in the SRV looking for items that I can bring to any Engineer to help improve my fleet. it's not the most exciting adventure, but it's one that is necessary. With luck, I'll have most of what I need and then it will only be a matter of finding those items on the list that I still need. After a short trip back to IX to refuel, I'll be on another planet looking to mine some of the raw materials that I need.
