I Hope I Haven't Made a Mistake....

I've accumulated 3 billion in reserve funds, 21,500 tones of tritium, and a fleet of twelve ships crammed into my fleet carrier, Pequod. I'm off to Colonia and points beyond.
This might be a massive mistake. The trip that I have planned for a year is possibly a fool's endeavor. Rumors of tritium becoming scarce in the galaxy abound. Colonia, my planned way station, doesn't show a single outpost selling the commodity. I've seen messages by at least a dozen commanders who had the same plan stuck in Colonia. Decommissioned fleet carriers are beginning to dot the Bubble.
It's my intention to ultimately anchor my fleet in the Orio-Persean Conflux. The heat maps show that the area is in need of exploration, and my reserves would allow the Pequod to exist for five years in the void. The Bubble has bored me with its inactivity; discovering planets is a highlight for me. I fancy that I can retire out in the void a happy man. But it would be nice if I were able to return to the Bubble if need be, and I need a way to refuel my carrier.
I will stop somewhere in the Festival Grounds for a month or so for exploration. I will see if the tritium situation improves. If not, then I will return to the Bubble and take another path. Time will tell I suppose.
