Operational Office said it would just be a simple 9 jumps to Jameson. I could easily get there and get my requested ship modifications. After several jumps into the flight, at system Lyncis Sector ZE-R b4-4, I realized I my fuel scoop was not deploying. I thought maybe the mechanics had powered down the module. I would just simple turn it on. To my surprise, and increasing panic I found no fuel scoop and not enough fuel to jump anywhere.
I pulled up comms, hit the Get Fuel. Bless those Rats. I had a response in minutes. Even more impressive, I had fuel within 6 minutes with instructions to the nearest station I could get to. Thanks to Fuel Rat Cmdr Aanyath, she saved me millions. What would the absent minded commanders do if it was not for that great group.
