The line between exploration and tourism

Finished my bubble exploration project today. I've visited every tourist beacon within 1000 LY of Sol, which is about 80% of them, as well as every abandoned base and colony ship. This leaves my codex archives remarkably detailed; I'm quite pleased with the results. The tourist beacons alone are at 19 pages at 30 entries a page. My estimates put the maximum potential number of pages at 23. Of the 668 known beacons, I'm just shy of 550. The whole thing took a couple weeks.I still need the twelve distant abandoned bases (three sets of four) but I'll get around to that later. Also need to take a trip to the Zurara, which is thankfully in the same direction as one of the base clusters out in the Rift.
The best part of the trip was visiting all of the colony ships. It was very quick and a fun little trip. Highly recommend.
Celebrated my accomplishment by finally purchasing a Carrier. I've had the money for some time. I'd still like to have a bit more spare cash to be safe; I'm aiming for at least 5 billion in hand and 5 billion on the carrier. That's my next project. The carrier itself should accelerate the mining, which is why I went ahead and bought it now. No reason to start paying that upkeep until you can use it.
I'll reach out to Canonn at some point to see if my accomplishment is useful to them in any way. There's probably some idiot who's done this before me, but I might still be useful. I couldn't help but notice that the information in the database wasn't really filled in.
